Delmar L. Stanley

	Delmar L. Stanley, 69, of DuQuoin, passed away at 4:34 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2001 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
	Delmar was a retired fork lift operator for Leaver Bros. Mfg. Company.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
	He was born August 12, 1931 at DuQuoin, the son of Edward and Letha (Kelley) Stanley.  He married Mary  Zagdlo in 1959 and she preceded him in death in 1966.
	He is survived by a daughter, Betty Thompson of DuQuoin; two sons, John Klinski of Colorado, William Stanley of California; two brothers, Russell Stanley and Ray Stanley, both of DuQuoin; two sisters, Imogene Stanley and Dorothy Rice, both of DuQuoin; two grandchildren, Phillip Thompson and Kara Klinski and a long-time close friend, Rose Dolalie of Rosemont, Ill.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one son, Joseph; three brothers and one sister in infancy.
	Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 15 at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin with Rev. Carl Mesiti officiating.
	Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Searby  Funeral Home in DuQuoin.
	Interment was in the Old DuQuoin Cemetery.
